Our Story...

Rustic Lodge Works began with the dream of James and Holly Shadrick to own and operate a small family business where they could share their time and passion of helping others. Thus, Rustic Lodge Works exists with the help of their 3 daughters, a team of great coworkers and the community. James was born into a family of loggers and arborists. After a career in the Air Force and Law Enforcement he has returned to his roots. The heritage of the old family saw mill is alive and well at Rustic Lodge Works.

What We Do...

At Rustic Lodge Works we help people realize their dreams. We sell Rough Hewn Lumber, Nickle Gap Shiplap, Wall Treatments (including no lap Shiplap Pine and Rustic Reclaimed Hardwood). We have a large selection of Mantles, and the best Selection of slabs in Alabama. We provide Custom Milling Services to your specifications. If it can be done with wood...we can do it.

Lumber...

At Rustic Lodge works we have a wide array of local indigenous lumber, including Pine, Post Oak, Red and White Oak, Poplar, Cedar, and many other varieties. We keep main standard sizes in stock, and if we do not have it we can cut it!

Shiplap...

We sell Pine Nickel Gap Shiplap by the individual bundle or my the pallet in 8, 12, and 16 foot lengths. This product always flies out the door so please call or email us for pricing and availability.

Wall Board...

We nave a selection of both pine, and rustic reclaimed hardwood wall board that will allow you to create a lodge look at your home on a budget. We typically have 8, 12, and 16 foot lengths. Please come in an see us and we can make your accent wall or entire room a dream space.
